DMSKIN 개인정보처리방침
DMSKIN(이하 "본 확장")은 어떠한 개인정보도 수집·저장·외부 전송하지 않습니다. 본 확장은 외부 서버와 통신하지 않으며, 모든 데이터는 사용자의 기기 안에서만 처리됩니다.
1. 수집하지 않는 정보
본 확장은 다음을 수집하지 않습니다:
- 인스타그램 메시지(DM) 내용, 연락처, 사진·미디어
- 계정 정보, 아이디, 비밀번호 등 자격증명
- 브라우징 기록, 방문 URL, 검색어
- 이름·이메일·위치 등 개인 식별 정보
- 사용 통계·분석·텔레메트리 (본 확장에는 분석 도구가 전혀 포함되어 있지 않습니다)
본 확장은 인스타그램 웹페이지의 겉모습(색상·레이아웃)만 사용자의 브라우저 안에서 다시 칠합니다. 메시지 전송·수신 등 실제 기능은 인스타그램이 그대로 처리하며, 본 확장은 그 내용을 읽어 저장하거나 외부로 보내지 않습니다.
2. 로컬 저장 데이터
다음 항목은 사용자 기기 안(chrome.storage.local)에만 저장되며 어디에도 전송되지 않습니다:
- 확장 설정값(위장 on/off, 탭 제목·파비콘, 감지 민감도, 알림 표시 모드 등)
- 사용자가 직접 업로드한 "가림 화면" 이미지
이 데이터는 사용자 본인만 접근할 수 있고, 확장 삭제 시 함께 제거됩니다.
3. 권한 사용 목적
- instagram.com 접근 — 인스타그램 화면의 겉모습을 다시 칠하기 위해서만 사용합니다.
- storage / unlimitedStorage — 위 설정값과 업로드 이미지를 기기에 로컬 저장하기 위해서.
- tabs — 여러 인스타그램 탭에 위장을 동시에 적용하고, 가림 화면 진입 시 탭 소리를 음소거하기 위해서. 탭의 내용을 읽어 저장하거나 전송하지 않습니다.
4. 제3자 공유 · 판매
수집하는 데이터가 없으므로 제3자에게 제공·판매·공유하는 데이터도 없습니다. 본 확장은 광고·추적 네트워크를 포함하지 않습니다.
5. 데이터 삭제
설정 화면에서 업로드 이미지를 개별 삭제하거나, 브라우저에서 확장을 제거하면 로컬에 저장된 모든 데이터가 삭제됩니다.
6. 방침 변경
본 방침이 변경되면 이 페이지의 내용과 "최종 업데이트" 날짜를 갱신합니다.

DMSKIN Privacy Policy
DMSKIN (the "Extension") does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It communicates with no external servers; all data is processed locally on your device.
1. Information we do NOT collect
- Instagram message (DM) contents, contacts, photos or media
- Account information, usernames, passwords or other credentials
- Browsing history, visited URLs or search queries
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, location, etc.)
- Usage statistics, analytics or telemetry — the Extension contains no analytics of any kind
The Extension only restyles the visual appearance (colors and layout) of the Instagram web page, entirely within your browser. Messaging itself is handled by Instagram; the Extension does not read, store, or transmit that content.
2. Locally stored data
The following are stored only on your device (chrome.storage.local) and are never transmitted:
- Extension settings (disguise on/off, tab title & favicon, sensitivity, notification mode, etc.)
- Cover-screen images you upload yourself
Only you can access this data, and it is removed when you uninstall the Extension.
3. Permissions
- instagram.com access — used solely to restyle the Instagram page's appearance.
- storage / unlimitedStorage — to save the above settings and uploaded images locally.
- tabs — to apply the disguise across multiple Instagram tabs and to mute a tab when the cover screen is shown. Tab contents are not read, stored, or transmitted.
4. Third parties
Since no data is collected, none is shared or sold. The Extension includes no advertising or tracking networks.
5. Data deletion
Delete uploaded images individually in the settings page, or remove the Extension to erase all locally stored data.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
